Arrived in Belize City followed by a short taxi ride to the ferry and then a 45 minute ferry trip to Caye Caulker.

                                   Sunshine, blue water and great friends. Life is good!

So far our days have been spent sitting around the pool or taking a stroll along the beach.

Caye Caulker has a variety of fresh seafood which is priced very reasonably. So far this week we have had lobster 3 times. Chris paid $20.00 for five pounds of lobster yesterday.

People here are always saying to us "Go Slow". I think this is a great idea in this heat.

Locals also have a sense of humour, all you have to do is look at the signs they have around town.

Along with the sun we have also had several downpours. Today it started raining and it showed us what a real tropical rainfall is. Within a few seconds it went from being cloudy to the roads looking like swimming pools. 

Special note to Nancy....yes those people finally got off the bus!

Time to rehydrate myself with a water coconut.
